    Acwa Robotics kicks off 2024 by closing a €4.8M financing round!

    This will enable the company to accelerate the deployment of its pilot missions, followed by commercial and industrial deployment. Three new investors have joined the company: Banque des Territoires, one of France's leading financiers of water services; FMH Circular Invest, the investment fund of FERALCO ENVIRONNEMENT, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of water treatment solutions; and Crédit Agricole Alpes Provence's innovation fund - Capital & Innovation by Crédit Agricole Alpes Provence. UI Investissement and Calao Finance, two long-standing investors in Acwa Robotics, are also strengthening their positions.

    Acwa is currently realizing test at the Provence Canal Company !

    Since July 2023, the Acwa Robotics technical team has been deploying the first 'severe' condition tests of the Pathfinder pre-production model at Société du Canal de Provence's Les Milles laboratory near Aix-en-Provence.

    The laboratory provides Acwa with an infrastructure comprising several dozen meters of pipe, enabling our team to assess the robot's ability to move autonomously and collect data within the pipes. During these tests, Pathfinder is exposed to pressures of up to 15 bar and flow speeds of up to 1.5 m/s.

    Acwa is thrilled to have been one of the 5 companies selected by the international water incubator Imagine H2O as part of its Urban Water Challenge program. One of over 270 applicants, Acwa made it to the water experts’ jury and finally to the final 5!

    The Urban Water Challenge will give Acwa the opportunity to be accompanied by a great group of water expert in a critical phase when we are rolling out our first pilot missions. The Challenge focuses more specifically on our upcoming critical mission in the city of Dunkirk, with the collaboration of Suez. the project also shed further international light on Acwa, especially in the world of water innovation.

    First successful experiment for the Acwa Pathfinder

    The entire Acwa Robotics team and members of the technical department of the corsican water utility of Bastia were present to attend the first real-world impoundment of the Pathfinder prototype, the first robot in the Acwa range intended for pipes of diameters 250mm and beyond. Mission successfully completed for the robot !
